Solution

Compound X is cycloprop-2-enol. In presence of acid, it loses hydroxide group to form cycloprop-2-en-1-ylium. The molecular formula of X is C3H4O. The molecular weight of X is (3×12)+(4×1)+16=36+4+16=56. Hence, the molecular weight of X is 56g/mol.
