Solution

Dear Student

Conclusions made by Rutherford model of an atom

(i) An atom contains a dense and positively charged area located at its centre , which was called as nucleus .
(ii) The rest of the atom must be empty space ( hollow structure ) which contain much smaller and negatively charged electrons on moving condition .
(iii) Total negative charge on electron is equal to the total positive charge on the nucleus . So , that atom became electrically neutral .
