What is the angle made by the outgoing ray with the normal of mirror 2? [3 MARKS]

1. The reflected ray will make an angle of ${30}^{\circ }$ with the normal and then hit the second mirror.
2. As the mirrors are inclined at right angle, this ray will make ${30}^{\circ }$ with the mirror (Corresponding angles).
3. So angle made by this ray with the normal of Mirror 2 will be ${60}^{\circ }$ and by the first law of reflection the outgoing ray will make ${60}^{\circ }$ with its normal.
