The correct option is C Transmitted light will be maxima if μ1<μ2>μ3
Δx=2μ2t=2μ(λairμ2)=2λair

In option (a), two reflected rays from denser boundaries will suffer a phase difference of (π). Hence , their mutual phase difference is zero or we can say that Δx=2λair is the condition for maximum intensity.

Similarly, in option (c) phase difference between two transimitted rays comes out to be zero.
