Given that $A B = C D$
We know that equal chords subtend equal angles at the centre.
$⟹ ∠ A O B = ∠ C O D = 30^{\circ}$
$⟹ ∠ A E D = 90^{\circ}$
$∴ ∠ A E D = 90^{\circ}$ and $∠ C O D = 30^{\circ}$
