The correct option is A Diode D1 will always be in OFF state.
When Vin<0.7VD2 will Switch ON and D1 will always remain in OFF state.But when Vin>0.7V both d1 and D2 will remain in OFF state.Note: when Vin>0.7VD2 will be OFF because of reverse biasing.But d1 will be OFF as there will not be any drop across resistor R1. Since no current will flow in the circuit and Vin=Vout.
