The output waveform for the above circuit can be drawn as
where θ=sin−1(1.73)=0.60rad
To find the average value of the output we have to find the area A1 and A2 for the above figure
AreaA1=∫π−θ1θ1(3sinθ−0.7)dθ=2∫π/2θ1(3sinθ−0.7)dθ
=2[−3cosθ−0.7θ]1.570.60=2[−1.099+3×0.824+0.42]=3.586V
Now, area A2 can be calculated as A2=1[2π−(π−θ1−θ1)] =1(π+2θ1)
now θ1=4.34V ∴ Average =3.586+4.342π=1.26V
