If in the given compound, number of stereogenic centers are $x$ and stereoisomers are $y$ then, calculate the value of $x+y$?

There are 2 stereogenic centers only. The C- atoms on the double bond are not considered as stereogenic centres.
$\therefore x=2$
Number of stereoisomers $=2^2\times 2=8$
As $n=3\Rightarrow y=2^3=8$
So, $x+y=10$
