Arrange the given data set in ascending order and observe the values which occur most frequently.


Since there are two values which occur most frequently, therefore the given data is bimodal with values 25 and 40.

The outlier is that value of the given set which is very different from the rest of the values in the data set.

All the values in the data set lies between the range of 22 and 29, except the value 40 which is larger than the given range of values. Therefore, the outlier of given data is 40.

The mode with outlier is 25 and 40, while the mode without outlier is 25.
