Solution

The correct option is D (ii) and (iii)
Kangaroo rat is a desert rodent. Its body is covered by hairs. Its urine is more than 20 concentrated than its plasma. This concentrated waste enables it live in dry or desert environments where little water is available for it to drink. Most of its water is metabolically produced from the oxidation of carbohydrates, fats and proteins in the seed that it eats. The animal remains in cool burrows during daytimes and the respiratory moistures condenses in the nasal passages.
