Green revolution refers to the introduction of high yielding variety of seeds or plants by various plant breeding techniques, increased use of fertilizer and irrigation methods which resulted in the increase in production of food grains. The Green Revolution occured in mid 1960s.
The White Revolution is associated with a sharp increase in milk production in the country. It is also also known as Operation Flood.
The process in which only desired pollen grains of selected plants are used for pollination and fertilization is called artificial hybridization.
