The correct option is D 1, 2 and 3
Evaporation of water can be represented as:
H2O(l)H2O(g) and is an endothermic process.
Since the equilibrium can exist when the two phase are in contact, therefore its a surface phenomenon. Statement 1 is true.
The equilibrium can be disturbed by changing parameters like temperature, pressure etc. So 2 is true
As it is an endothermic process, it absorbs heat from the surroundings and therefore results in cooling. 3 is true.
Hence all statements are correct and option D is the answer.
