For a given value of angle of incidence , the angle of deviation produced by a prism increases with increasing of refractive index of prism because deviation in a prism is given by $\delta =i+i^1-(\gamma +{\gamma }^1)$
So, by increasing refractive index of prism $\gamma$ and ${\gamma }^1$ decreases by Snell's law so, $\delta$ increases.
Angle of deviation produced by thin prism is independent of angle of incidence because in thin prism angle of deviation is given by $\delta =(\mu -1)A$.
