There are two types of wastes viz., biodegradable and non-biodegradable. Biodegradable wastes are the materials that can be easily decomposed by natural agents like microbes. For example, food wastes like vegetables, chicken, fruit peels, paper etc. Non-biodegradable wastes are the materials which can not be decomposed e.g., plastic.
Biodegradable wastes should be separated and kept in the green coloured bins so that they can be recycled and reused.
UV radiations cat on the atmospheric oxygen and make the stratospheric ozone. UV light splits the molecules apart by breaking the bonds between the atoms. A highly reactive free oxygen atom collides with another oxygen molecule to form an ozone molecule.
