Law of dominance states that characters are controlled by discrete units called factors, which occur in pairs.

Out of two alleles in a paired factor, one allele will always overdo the expression of another. The one which is expressed is called the dominant allele whereas the other one is called recessive.

The alleles do not blend in the hetrozygous individual and both traits are expressed in the F2 generation.
