Solution

The correct option is C

3 only

Here Gandhiji did not ask the soldiers and government servants to resign. Hence both 1st and 2nd statements are incorrect. The third statements is correct because Gandhiji had asked princes to accept sovereignty of their own people.

Gandhiji’s General instructions to different sections:-

1.Government servant: Do not resign but declare your allegiance to congress.

2. Soldiers: Do not leave the Army but do not time on compatriots.

3. Students: It confident, leave studies.

4. Peasants: If Zamidars are anti-government, pay mutually agreed rent, if Zamindars are pro- government do not pay rent.

Princes: support the masses and accept the sovereignty of your own people.
