Solution

Massnumber=no.ofprotons+no.ofneutrons

(i) Given Massnumber=19

Element A has Massnumber=19,

as theno.ofprotons=9 and no.ofneutrons=10

Hence, A is the element with mass number 19.

Atomicnumber=no.ofprotons

(ii) Given Atomicnumber=10

Element C has Atomicnumber=10, as the no.ofprotons=10

Hence, C is the element having atomic number 10.

Therefore,

  1. An element with mass number 19 = A
  2. An element having atomic number 10 = C
