Solution

The correct option is C f is not periodic
Let f(x) be periodic with period equal to T
Then, f(x+T)=f(x)
cos(x+T)2=cosx2 xR

Using general solution
(x+T)2=2nπ±x2 xR
(x+T)2=2nπ+x2 or (x+T)2=2nπx2 xR

There can be maximum 4 values of x satifying either of them.
f(x) is not periodic.
