The two N-MOS transistor are identical with threshold voltage VT=1 V and μnCoxWL=2 mA/V2. Assuming the value of λ=0, the value of drain to source voltage for transistor T2(VDS2) is equal to _____V.

ID2=V2(5)1kΩ=12×2×(V21)2

V2+5=V22+2V2+1

V22+V24=0

V2=1.55 V,2.56 V

VGS2 cannot be negative, thus V2=2.56 V

Thus, V2=2.56 V

Now, ID1=ID2=V2(5)1kΩ=2.56+51kΩ=2.44

2.44×103=12×2×103(5V11)2

V218V1+13.56=0

V1=2.44 V,5.56 V

V1=2.44 V

VGS cannot be negative.

VGS2=V1V2=2.44(2.55)=5 V
