The value of small signal equivalent is shown in the figure below:

Now, Vo=gmVgs(4 kΩ||r0)...(1)

Now, Vi=Vgs+Vo

Vi=Vgs+gmVgs(4 kΩ||ro)

Vgs=Vi1+gm(4 kΩ||ro)...(2)

Substituting (2) in (1) we get, VoVi=gm(4 kΩ||ro)1+gm(4 kΩ||ro)=0.8
