A double displacement reaction is a type of reaction in which two reactants exchange ions to form two new compounds. In the given reaction, H+ and K+ ions interchange to form new products and hence it is a double displacement reaction.

A precipitation reaction is a double displacement reaction in which a precipitate is formed. However, not all double displacement reaction involves a precipitate formation. In the given reaction, the products formed are salt and water and no precipitate is formed.

Additionally, the given reaction is a neutralisation reaction as HNO3 is an acid which is neutralised by KOH base to result in salt formation.
