Question

Construct 3 equations starting with the solution:

y=4

Open in App
Solution

Formation of equation with one variable:

We have, y=4

Multiply both sides by 3

3×y=3×43y=12

Adding 5 on both sides

3y+5=12+53y+5=17

Again, for y=4

Multiplying both sides by 10

10×y=10×410y=40

Subtracting 3 from both sides

10y-3=40-310y-3=37

Again, for y=4

Dividing both sides by 5

y5=45

Hence, the 3 equations can be: 3y+5=17, 10y-3=37 and y5=45.
