Step 1: Draw a line segment BC = 4 cm.

Step 2: With centre B draw an arc of radius 6 cm.

Step 3: With centre C, draw an arc of radius 5.5 cm such that it intersects the previous arc at A.

Step 4: Join AB and AC.

Hence, ABC is the required triangle.
