Construct a parallelogram, whose two adjacent sides AB = 3.6 cm, BC = 4.6 cm and height corresponding to side BC = 2.6 cm. [3 MARKS]

Construction : 2 Marks

Steps of constructions :
1. Draw a line segment BC of length 4.6 cm.
2. At C Construct an angle of 90 and draw CPBC.
3. From CP, cut an arc of radius 2.6 cm, let it be E.
4. Through E draw a perpendicular to CP to get QRBC.
5. With B as centre and radius AB = 3.6 cm, draw an arc which cuts QR at A.
6. With C as centre and radius CD = 3.6 cm, draw an arc which cuts QR at D.
7. Join BA and CD. ABCD is the required parallelogram.
