Open in App
Solution

The number of an individual at the trophic level decreases from the producer to consumer level. That is in an ecosystem is the number of producers is less. The number of herbivores are lesser than the producer. Similarly, the number of carnivores are lesser than the herbivores. The number of the producer per unit area is more in the pond ecosystem and grassland ecosystem. In the forest ecosystem, the pyramid of number is an intermediate point near the number of primary consumers is more than producer as well as that of the consumer.
