Construct a quadrilateral ABCD, given that BC=4.5 cm,AD=5.5 cm and CD=5 cm, the diagonal AC=5.5 cm and the other diagonal BD=7 cm.

Steps of construction are given below :
Draw line segment BC of length 4.5cm.
With C as a center and radius CD = 5cm draw an arc.
With B as a center and radius BD = 7cm draw an arc intersecting the previous arc at D.
Again with C as the center and 5.5cm as a radius draw an arc.
Then with D as the center and 5.5cm as radius, draw an arc intersecting the point at A.
Join AB, AD, CD, BD, and AC.
Thus, ABCD is a required quadrilateral.
