Construct a quadrilateral ABCD in which AB = 2.7 cm, BC = 3.5 cm, CD = 4 cm, AD = 6 cm and B=90 [4 MARKS]

Steps : 1 Mark
Construction : 3 Marks

Steps of Construction:
1. Draw a line segment AB = 2.7 cm
2. At B , construct ABX=90 and from from BX cut an arc radius 3.5 cm. i.e., BC = 3.5 cm
3. Join AC
4. With A as centre draw an arc of radius 6cm.
5. With C as centre draw an arc of radius 4cm.
6. These two arcs intersect at a point. Let it be D
7. Join CD and AD
8 .ABCD is the required quadrilateral.
