Construct a quadrilateral ABCD in which AB = 2.9 cm, BC = 3.2 cm, CD = 2.7 cm, DA = 3.4 cm and $\angle A={70}^{\circ }$.

Steps of Construction:

(i) Draw a line AB = 2.9 cm.

(ii) At A, draw a ray AX making an angle of ${70}^{\circ }$ with AB. Using protractor and cut off AD = 3.4 cm.

(iii) With centre B and radius 3.2 cm and with centre D and radius 2.7 cm., draw arcs intersecting each other at C.

(iv) Join BC and DC.

ABCD is the required quadrilateral.
