Construct a quadrilateral ABCD, where AB = 3.5 cm, BC = 3 cm, CD = 4 cm and C=120 and B=75. [4 MARKS]

Construction : 3 Marks

Steps of Construction:

1. Draw a line segment BC = 3cm.
2. At C construct a 120 angle and draw a ray.
3. With C as centre draw an arc at the length of 4 cm. Let this line segment be CD. ie, CD = 4 cm.
4. At B construct a 75 angle and draw a ray.
5. With B as centre draw an arc at the length of 3.5 cm. Let this line segment be BA. ie, BA = 3.5 cm.
6. Join AD to complete quadrilateral ABCD.
