Construct a quadrilateral ABCD with AB= 9cm, BC=6 cm, CD=7 cm, AC=9 cm and BD=11 cm.

1. Draw a line segment BC =6cm .
2. Open compass of length 7 cm and mark curve from point C.
3. Open compass of length 11cm and mark curve from point B.
4. These curve cut each other at point D.
5. Join B to D and C to D
6. Open compass of length 9cm and mark curve from point C.
7. Open compass of length 9cm and mark curve from point B.
8. These curve cut each other at point A
9. Join A to B and A to D
Hence ABCD is the required quadrilateral.
