1. Draw QR of length 8cm.
2. Cut an arc of 12 cm from Q and 6 cm from R. Their point of intersection is S.
3. Cut an arc of 7 cm from Q and 11cm from R. Their point of intersection is P.
4. Join PQ, PS, SR, QR.
PQRS is the required quadrilateral.
