Steps of Construction :

$\Rightarrow$ Draw a line segment $\text{AB = 3.2 cm}$.

$\Rightarrow$ With A as a center and radius $\text{AD = 4.2 cm}$ draw an arc.

$\Rightarrow$ Then with B as a center and $\text{BD = 5.2 cm}$ radius draw an arc intersecting the point at D.

$\Rightarrow$ Again B as a center and radius $\text{BC = 5.2 cm}$ draw an arc.

$\Rightarrow$ Then with D as a center and $\text{CD=6.2 cm}$ radius, draw an arc intersecting the point at C.

$\Rightarrow$ Join $\text{BC, CD, DA,}$ and $\text{BD}$.

Thus, $\text{ABCD}$ is the required quadrilateral.
