Construct a rectangle ABCD, when:
One side =5.4 cm and one diagonal is 7.0 cm.

Step 1: Draw line segment AB=5.4cm
Step 2: With B as the centre and radius equal to 5.4cm , draw an arc.
Step 3: With A as the centre and radius equal to 7cm, draw another arc such that it intersects the previous arc at C.
Step 4: Join points B,C and points A, C.
Step 5: With A as the centre and radius equal to 5.4cm, draw an arc.
Step 6: With C as the centre and the same radius, draw another arc such that it intersects the previous arc at D.
Step 7: Join points D, A and points D, C.
ABCD is the required rhombus.
