Construct a rhombus PQRS, with PR = 6.5 cm and QS = 3.6 cm.

Concept : In rhombus diagonals bisect each other perpendicularly.

Steps of construction :

1. Draw a line segment PR of length 6.5 cm.
2. Draw a perpendicular bisector for PR. Let the point of intersection be O.
3. With O as centre, draw two arcs of radius 1.8 cm on either side of PR. [BD=3.6OQ=OS=1.8cm]
4. Name them as Q and S. Join PS, RS, PQ and RQ to complete the rhombus PQRS.
5. PQRS is the required rhombus.
