  • Draw a line segment of length 3cm(AB)
  • Make an angle of 90o from base AB and vertex B
  • Mark a point C at a distance 3cm from B
  • Draw perpendicular bisectors of CB and AB
  • These bisectors meet at point O
  • Taking O as center, make a circle of radius OB
  • Also, make an angle bisector of ABC
  • This angular bisector meets/cuts the circle at D
  • Join ABCD, would be the required square of side 3cm
