So, AB = BC = CD = DA = 4 cm

Steps of Construction
Step 1. Draw $\overline{AB}=4cm$
Step 2. At B, draw $\overline{BX}$ such that $\angle ABX={90}^{\circ }$.

Step 3. From $\overline{BX}$, cut-off BC = 4 cm
Step 4. With centre C and radius = 4 cm, draw an arc.

Step 5. With centre A and radius = 4 cm, draw another arc to intersect the previous arc at D.
