Construct a square PQRS of diagonal 6.2 cm.

Draw a line segment PR=6.2cm length
Now draw perpendicular bisector of PR. Let it intersect PR at point O.
With O as centre and radius equal to half of the length of the diagonal (3.2 cm) draw two arcs on either side of PR on the perpendicular bisector.
Mark the point of intersections of the arcs and perpendicular bisectors as Q and S.
Join points P,Q; points Q,R; points R,S; points P,S.
