The correct option is C 3.5 cm
We know that all side square ABCD are equal
So let AB=x and BC=x
Triangle ABC is a right angled triangle
so AB2 + BC2 = AC2
Given AC=5 cm and AB=BC= x
x2 + x2 =52
From this equation we get x=3.54
So correct answer is Option C
