$\Rightarrow$ Join $BC$

$\Rightarrow$ Let $a=3cm,b=6cm$ and $h=4cm$

$\Rightarrow$ Area of trapezium ABCD =$\frac{a+b}{2}h=\frac{3+6}{2}\times 4$
