Open in App
Solution

Steps of construction:

Step I: Draw line segment BC = 3.6 cm. At point B, draw an angle of measure 60°, say ÐXBC.

Step II: Cut line segment BD = 4.8 cm (= AB + AC) from ray BX.

Step III: Join DC and draw the perpendicular bisector PQ of DC.

Step IV: Let it intersect BX at point A. Join AC. ΔABC is the required triangle.
