Construct a triangle ABC in which BC is 6 cm, angle B is 70 and AB+AC=14cm by using the method of perpendicular bisector.

Steps- -Draw line segment BC of length 6 cm using ruler. From B using protractor, draw ray BX which makes an angle of 70with BC.

-Cut a line segment BD equal to AB+AC=14 cm from ray BX.

-Join CD. Construct perpendicular bisector PQ for CD. Let PQ meet BD at A.

-Join AC. Triangle ABC is the required triangle.
