Construct a triangle ABC whose perimeter 12 cm and who base angles are ${50}^{\circ }$ and ${80}^{\circ }$.

STEPS OF CONSTRUCTION:

1) Draw a line segment XY of 12 cm.

2)AT X draw angle ${50}^o$ and at y draw angle ${80}^0$

3)Draw a bisector of angle ${50}^o$ as well as angle${80}^o$.

4)Mark the point where both the bisectors meet as A.

5)Draw the perpendicular bisector of AX and AY Meeting XY at B and C respectively.

6)Join AB and AC .

7) ABC is the required triangle.
