Steps of construction:

(1) Draw a sufficiently long line segment using a ruler.

(2) Locate points L and M on it such that LM = 7.8 cm.

(3) Construct a sufficiently long line segment MP at M such that ∠LMN = 45°.

(4) With M as the centre and radius 6.3 cm, draw an arc that cuts MP at N.

(5) Join LN.

Then, LMN is the required triangle.
