Construct an angle bisector for an angle of 70 using a compass. [2 MARKS]

Construction : 1 Marks

Steps:

1. Draw line segment BC of any appropriate length.

2. Using protractor draw a line segment AB of any length which makes angle of 70 with BC.

3. Draw an arc of any radius with B as centre. Let the arc intersect AB and BC at E and D respectively.

4. With E and D as centres draw arcs of same radii. Let these 2 arcs meet at F

5. Join BF. Angle FBC is the bisected angle. On measurement of angle FBC Its value is found to be 35∘.
