Steps of construction:

Step I: Draw line segment YZ = 5.8 cm.

Step II: Draw the perpendicular bisector of YZ; call it PM.

Step III: With M as the centre and radius 3.8 cm (equal to the length of the altitude), draw an arc that cuts MP at X.

Step IV: Join XY and XZ. ΔXYZ is the required triangle.
