Construct $\Delta PQR$ such that QR = 6 cm, $\angle Q=\angle R={60}^o$. Measure the other two sides of the triangle and name the triangle.

We have given $QR=6$cm

$\angle Q=\angle R=60$

The third angle of $\Delta PQR$:-

$\angle P+\angle Q+\angle R={180}^o$

$\angle P+{60}^o+{60}^o={180}^o$

$\angle P+{120}^o={180}^o$

$\angle P={60}^o$

All the angles of $\Delta PQR$ is equal i.e., each angle is ${60}^o$.

So, the corresponding sides will also be equal

i.e., $PQ=QR=PR=6cm$

All the sides and angles are equal of $\Delta PQR$, so it is known as equilateral triangle.
