Question

Construct parallelogram ABCD with the following measurements:
AB=4.3cm, BC=3.2cm, C=120o

Open in App
Solution

C=1200A=1200 (opposite angles of a parallelogram)

BC=3.2 cm, therefore, AD=3.2 cm (opposite sides of a parallelogram)

Steps of construction:

1. Draw a line segment AD=3.2 cm.

2. At A make an angle of 1200 and draw AE.

3. In off AD=3.2 cm on AE.

4. With B as center and 3.2 cm as radius draw an arc.

5. With D as center and 3.2 cm as radius draw another arc to intersect C.

6. Join BC and DC.

Hence, ABCD is the required parallelogram is the above drawn figure.
