Open in App
Solution

As we know that, In a rhombus, the diagonals are perpendicularly bisect each other.
So, our figure look like

Thus, BEND is a rhombus.
BNDE and BO=NO=5.62=2.8 cm,DO=EO=6.52=3.25cm [ Since diagonals are perpendicularly bisect each other in rhombus]

Steps of Constructions:

1. Draw BN whose length is 5.6 cm.
2. Construct perpendicular bisector for BN. Let the perpendicular bisector intersects BN at O.
3. With O as centre, draw two arcs of radius 3.25 cm on either side of BN.
4. Let the arcs intersects the perpendicular bisector at D and E
5. Join BD,ND,BE and NE to complete the rhombus.
6. BEND is the required rhombus BEND.
