Construct the circumcircle of a triangle ABC in which AB=3 cm,B=78o and BC=4.6 cm.

Solution

1. Draw the base BC=4.6cm. Construct 78o at B.
2. Mark BC as 3cm from B. Join AC.
3. Draw the perpendicular bisector of each sides of the triangle. The perpendicular bisector meet at a common point O.
4. From point O, keep it at any vertex of a triangle, take it as radii and draw the circumcircle.
