Question

Construct the incircle of SRN, such that RN = 5.9 cm, RS = 4.9 cm, R = 95° and draw incircle of it.

Open in App
Solution

Steps of construction:
1. Draw a line segment RN = 5.9 cm.
2. Draw NRX=95°.
3. With R as the centre and a radius of 4.9 cm, draw an arc cutting RX at S.
4. Join SN.
5. Then SRN is the required triangle.
6. Draw angle bisectors of RNS and NRS (any two angles) which intersect at I.
7. From point I, draw a perpendicular IL on side RN.
8. Taking IL as the radius, draw the required incircle.
